I shared a joke with a friend on the mush.

Then I decided to write a Dear Diary entry to make fun of the joke.

I will not make an apology if others get upset over a misunderstanding. Polite questions to clear up matters are always welcome. Offensive accusations, true or not, stemmed from a misinterpretation of my intentions and opinions are not.

But to give people a peace of mind, I will, from now on, post private entries only.

I hope that will prove to be satisfactory for all parties.

So D is engaged, not married, might still have a chance to talk him out of that idiocy while making sure his sister is not falling into the same stupidit- I mean, unfortunate circumstance and compromising the integrity of...  I give up.

He held my hand and we whispered words into each other's ear. He never let go of my hand while we stared into each other's eyes. When I grew tired, he carried me on his shoulder and took me to bed. I left my perfume on him. He wore his boots. They got wet.

Fiona says, "Servalle may get a little distressed when we destroy the water in the room, of course."

Fiona says, "Even if it is in a good cause. The very cause he asked you to work upon, in fact."

Morgaine snickers softly. "I shall keep that in mind, must he be present?"

Fiona says, "Better the room's not that full when it gets done. After all, I expect crashing water over the Pattern. That sort of thing is dangerous. Could get carried over the lines."

Morgaine says, "And I will be absolutely crashed if Servalle is carried over the lines."

Fiona says, "Come now, it's easier to explain away a little crashing water for the greater good than vaporized ambassadors."

Morgaine stares at Bleys and shakes her head as she returns into Fiona's office. "Did he bump his head somewhere on his way down Kolvic?"

Fiona looks up from her work and says, "I'm pretty sure he took some damage to the noggin on the way down, yes. And prior to falling. Bleys, I was just explaining some matters about shadowpaths to Lucia. The same as I tried to explain to you the other day. Were you even listening?"

"I'm sorry, what?" Bleys says, idly poking at a nearby bookshelf.

I have no idea why father needed an army when he was quite capable of doing what Benedict did - all he had to do was play his viola. Maybe it could frighten away the Black Road. We have quite a potent weapon at our disposal and no one seems to notice it. On the whole, the meeting was quite satisfactory. Everyone was suitably shocked when they saw my Karm colors.

Desirata. It was beyond me why they would all suffer a child to take the rein of power. Then I realized the reasons behind their decision and I marvel at mother's foresight. She and her brother might just be sufficient. If nothing else, they could keep their damnable father out of trouble. I do not want to hear what they did to help the Minosians. For centuries, I was taught that the only assistance we should extend to those pirate rats is to speed them on their way to a watery grave. It is what they always wanted, after all. Why else would they dare to enter our harbor twice if not to beg for death and destruction?

Fair Lyonesse. Be patient, the time will be soon.

The meeting with Servalle was quite... useless. I mentioned it to father, he was suitably baffled and  told me maybe it was Fiona's attempt to teach us the importance of being polite. If not for Dylan's presence in our group, we won't need to be polite. More like a chance to teach the Rebman to be polite. I have so little patience for petty nobilities, I am assured by father that it is a family trait, and not my fault.

Mother and daughter prepares for a future of their own design.

I can hear Her.

I feel Her in me. The deep pulsating thunder of the falls. She does not give without taking. I bear Her within my veins. My life is Hers.

I am merely the instrument of Her will. How could they hope to understand? My sisters share my visions, but they, too, lack the deeper insight. They do not hear Her. Those whispers have become louder with every passing moment and still I cannot make out Her words.
